NCLEX Nerds
Last updated: August 12, 2026
NCLEX Nerds ("we," "us," "our") operates nclexnerds.com and the NCLEX Nerds mobile app, a platform providing NCLEX-RN preparation including video lessons, NGN-format practice questions, MeSH-aligned medical terminology, and PubMed-linked literature. By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms.
We offer three paid options:
By subscribing or purchasing prepaid access, you authorize the charge for the applicable amount on the date of purchase, and (for monthly subscriptions only) on the same date each subsequent month until you cancel.
You will receive a receipt for each payment — from us for purchases made on our website, or from Apple or Google for purchases made in the mobile app.
Plans purchased inside the NCLEX Nerds app are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) to the payment method on your store account — we never see or store your card details for those purchases.
Your access is tied to your NCLEX Nerds account, not your device: a plan purchased in the app also unlocks the website, and a plan purchased on the website also unlocks the app.
From time to time we offer promotional pricing via promo codes. Unless stated otherwise for a specific promotion: a discounted monthly rate locks in for the life of your subscription — even when public pricing increases, your rate stays where it started for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. Canceling forfeits a locked-in rate; if you later re-subscribe, you do so at the public rate at that time. Discounts applied to one-time purchases apply to that purchase only.
Subscribers who joined under our inaugural LAUNCH rate keep that rate under the same conditions. The LAUNCH promotion itself has ended.
A paid plan grants you full access to:
Users who create a free account receive full access to Unit 1 (Cardiovascular) — every lesson video, vocabulary term, and practice question in that unit, with no time limit and no credit card required.
Free tier access does not expire. Upgrading to a paid plan unlocks all remaining units and the full question bank.
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. If you subscribed on our website, cancel from your Account page — self-service, no email or phone call required. If you subscribed in the mobile app, cancel in your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play); your Account page will point you to the right place.
Upon cancellation, your access continues through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again. Once your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
6-Month and Annual access are one-time purchases and do not renew. There is nothing to cancel — access simply expires 180 or 365 days after the purchase date.
Purchases made directly on nclexnerds.com are final and non-refundable. (Purchases made in the mobile app follow Apple's or Google's refund policies — see Section 3.) By completing a website purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
We may issue a refund at our discretion only if a technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing the service. We may also extend your access period on a case-by-case basis if you contact support.
Please contact us first. We are committed to resolving billing questions and can often help faster than your bank.
If you have questions about a charge, reach out to us before filing a dispute with your bank or credit card company. Email support@nclexnerds.com.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Each account is for individual use only and may not be shared with others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.
All course content — video lessons, practice questions, explanations, terminology, study materials, and the platform software itself — is the intellectual property of NCLEX Nerds. Your subscription or annual purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own NCLEX preparation purposes. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or republish any content.
We operate with due regard for proper learning — building the platform around how nurses actually study and what the NCLEX actually tests. But we do not guarantee that you will pass the NCLEX. Ultimately, the learner bears responsibility for using the tools properly and ultimately passing on their own accord.
Nothing on this platform should be construed as medical advice, clinical guidance, or a substitute for professional judgment in patient care. The content is intended for examination preparation only.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
